My June 18th class.....

Just wanted to share pics of the cards for my June 18th class. I will be teaching these classes plus the elephant card I made 2 posts previous from this one.

I colored this card with my copics on sticky back canvas. Love how it turned out!! The flower stamp is Hero Arts. The background stamp is Hero Arts/Basic Grey Life of the Party dots. The background was done with perfect pearls and versamark. The punched designs is a punch from Martha Stewart, leaves....then just topped it off with a couple of buttons!

This card was made with nestibilities die 'beaded circles', Just Right stamp (can't remember the name right off the top of my head), Hero Arts background stamp for the background (swirls) and for the large circle (envelope pattern and raindrop background), clear embossing powder and a white gel pen...simple!!

This is my favorite one! I did this with a Sizzix die (flower petal). first I cut strips of cream colored cardstock, then I stamped it with Hero Arts "old letter writing' stamp. I cut the cardstock down so I had 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" pieces and cut them on my Big Shot 8 pieces at a time. The leaves are the large petals from the die. Inked around the edges and put a sentiment stamp on it. Oh, I also used the smaller two dies from the beaded circles Nestibility die set...Love it!!!

This is just a store sample I thought I would throw in here since I have not posted it before. She got some C.C.Designs  stamps into the store and I wanted to show her how you could sit it on something other than another stamp. They are soooo cute!! I used patterened paper, colored her with Copics, punched both a round and scallop circle and topped it off with ribbon and some I-Rock squares turned sideways!!

Altered Ring Box...

I keep everything. I need to stop doing that and I am trying. I am a hoarder....but NOTHING like what is seen on tv....not even close to that. That is so unimaginable how some of those people live. But, anyway, I always keep my ring and jewelry boxes inside the little cardboard boxes. I have decided to get rid of some of them but instead of thowing them away, I am going to alter them and take into my LSS and let her have them for displays! SOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!

Honey Pops...

Ever hear of Honey Pops from Inky Antics? I never did until Mega Meet.....and now I know....they are SOOOOOOO cute!!!!! I got 3 stamp sets and some various honeycombs to go with them. If you do not know what I am talking about....prepare yourself!! (the elephant is my favorite one, though) :o)

I also love coloring with Copics....Going to have the opportunity to take a couple classes with Suzanne Dean....and I am Psyched!!!!! I can color just fine with my Copics....but I always have room for improvement and it will be so nice to see her techniques. And, I know I have a lot to learn from her!

Card Class

ok, the owner of my LSS has roped me into doing some card classes for her...LOL...but, I love doing it so here are the samples for my first class....

These cards all feature the Just Rite stamp set "Seeds of Kindness"
I have also highlighted some Spellbinders dies and a Tim Holtz die.
I used both the I-Rock and pearl pen for my embellishments.
And to top them off I used 2 different Martha Stewart edge punches and a MS butterfly punch.
Had fun doing these cards and looking forward to teaching them in May!!
Happy Stamping!!!!

I BELIEVE!!!!!

I love the vintage look of this card! This was all done with Tim Holtz stamps and embossing folder. I inked it up a bit with Vintage Photo distress ink. Love it!!! Now I am having a hard time deciding who gets what card this year!

and this is what I did to the outside of the envolope! LOVE that snowflake stamp!! (and, yes, it is a Tim Holtz stamp, also!)

Christmas 2010

This is one of my Christmas cards I made for this year. I used a Hero Arts stamp along with my copics for the card front...I added lots of bling to make it sparkle....(I love sparkle!!) The edges are punched with the Martha Stewart loopy border punch...LOVE how it turned out!! The inside was stamped with a Tim Holtz stamp....I love that man!!!
Merry Christmas to you all!!

Monochrome card challenge

Ok, here is my contribution to the Copic Creations challenge of coloring something with all one color. And I thought, what better to do than this stamp from Whipper Snapper with the dust bunnies?? I love this stamp....she is sooooo cute!!

I used my "T" colors 0/1/2/3/4/5/6/7/9
I embossed the button with silver to tie it in and airbrushed the flower with my Copics to match it up.
Hope you like her!...oh, them...I can't leave the dust bunnies out! :)

I'm Crazy for Copics....Crazy for Copics!!!!!

OK, I just upgraded this post on July 4th, 2013 to show where I am now! lol

Ok, yes, I know that I am officially addicted to these markers. They come in 334 colors and I think I have 302 of them. But I see that they need more colors. I am not happy with the yellow selection for sure. They need more yellows....and greens.....and oranges.....lol

Anyway, I went from this......
(November 15, 2009)
to this......

(March 8, 2010)

TO THIS.......!!!!!
(March 18,2010)

Then to THIS!!
(July 4, 2011)

quickly changed to this color and had it completely filled up
(July 25, 2011)

I now have THIS!!!
(June, 2013)

This shows a lid so things can be stacked on the top for portability.

This is a view removed from the tote sitting on the table.

This is the view I will use from my craft table as the rack will sit on it's side....VERY versatile!!!!!

(The following is from the original post and I am leaving it as it brings a smile to my face!! lol)
I love these markers, but I am out of room....I have to be able to fit the rest of them in this carrier. I have nothing else to tote them around to my classes with. There is a little room in some of the little boxes and I have room on the end.....just hope it enough for the rest of the markers!! Oh, and this tote has a lid that snaps on....LOVE IT!!!!
