Every time I see this name it makes me think of my precious little great-niece of the same name.. :)

This is a card I made for the new release of "Jenna" from the Stamping Chef...if you like her as much as I do, you can purchase her HERE!!

I know, I know....it is the same cut out as the previous card I posted, but I loved it so much I had to use it again!! The card and design was cut using my Cameo, the sentiment is actually a stamp from Ranger. It is their newer line of Dylusions stamps and it is a collection called "Say it How it is" Love them all!!!

Another Breast Cancer Card.... :(

This was made for a friend of a friend. We all have to support each other through this fight, right? Cancer affects all of us....None of us are untouched. Either we have a family member that has had it (or has it), a friend, or ourselves. 

We need to continue this fight and eradicate this horrible disease so it will quit taking our loved ones or at the very least making them very ill.

I wanted to share with you another card I made for my sister. 

This is a Simply Betty Stamp and you purchase a group of images so you get 3 breast cancer images altogether. You can purchase them HERE and if you do, it will be a part in the fight as all proceeds for these images get donated to The Breast Cancer Association.

Dad's Day Challenge...

Here is my latest creation for The Stamping chef 

challenge. We had to create a card for Dad. I chose to create a card for my hubby from our little dog....who is our beloved fur baby. So, now he has a card for his daddy.

My VERY First DT Post for SBS!!

I am pretty excited...this is my very first project as a member of the SBS Design Team! Since I got in during the middle of the month, I missed the first challenge which was to do a wedding card and have the couple merged on the card. So, the 2nd part of the month was to do a wedding card and have the couple NOT merged on the card...I got this!!!

These images are Betty Addams and Christian Addams and they can be purchased HERE along with numerous other images in both rubber and digi formats. I did alter Christian a tiny bit so he would be more "wedding" ready...lol....to see what I did you have to go to SBS site (above) and have a look.

TSC Challenge....Metal

Ok, this challenge for The Stampin' Chef is metal. It doesn't matter what we do or what image we use as long as it has metal on it. I chose to do Abigale. She is an adorable little steampunk image that has little gears on her boots (like spurs) and I immediately knew what I wanted to do with her!!

For My Big Sister.....

Cancer has no boundaries....it does not care.....it will attack the wealthiest, the poorest, the most beautiful, the most undesirable, the thinnest, the heaviest, the strongest, the weakest, strangers, and our loved ones. It is easy to think it only happens to other people...not us...not our families, but it does. We lost our Dad to cancer....I also lost an aunt, my father in law, a cousin, grandparents...and the list goes on. I had a great-niece fight and win against non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Now it wants my sister....well, cancer....YOU CAN NOT HAVE HER!!!

My sister was recently diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma...aka breast cancer. She has just underwent her surgery (2 days ago). The doctor seems very optimistic  but truthfully, we won't know anything for sure until we get the pathology reports back. The only thing I can do is be there for her....love her, hold her hand, support her, and do whatever I can emotionally and physically to let her know that, although this is happening to her, she is not going through this alone. We have a large family (I have 6 sisters and 2 brothers)...we shall rally around her....when she is weak, we will be strong....as will her husband, children, and grand-children. We will hold her up if she cannot hold herself up....we will hold her up if she just doesn't feel like holding herself up...we will fight when she is tired....we will laugh when all we want to do is cry....we will unite...and

 WE WILL WIN!!!!

Aside from all of that there is something I can do to give her a bright spot in her day.....I can make her a card....and I did just that.

Birthday Turtle...

Hi Everyone!! I have just recently joined a challenge team. This will keep me making something instead of just coloring (which I tend to do). You HAVE to go check out the images on this site...soooo cute!!!! Our challenge was "Animal Love" and I chose to do the Birthday Turtoise image. I have always loved turtles!

BitterSweet....

This was a challenge put out there by The Stampin' Chef....she is called BitterSweet and you can get her (and other images) HERE!!

I colored in the last image (Lost Fairy) but never got her on a card in time. I was going to sit this one out because I do not like to request images and not fulfill my obligation; however, I decided to join in with this and am SO glad I did...I WON!!! This was the first EVER challenge that I have won!!! I am so excited!!!!! (yeah, it doesn't take much....lol) I will not ramble on ....

Finally....

It is finally here...the end of my journey of being an adult student. It has been a VERY long time since I have been in school and I remember it being much easier than it is now. I thought I was taking the easy out here. My factory closed and relocated to South Carolina so I found myself with a choice to make...either go back to school (up to an Associates degree) or go get a job. I chose school...hahahaha!! I thought this will be a snap....yeah, I had NO idea!!!! BUT...I made it!!!! Two years, non-stop, online (yeah...that was NOT a good idea), books, stress, tests, finals, projects, stress, research, papers, and did I mention STRESS??? lol The end of my journey....or the beginning of a new journey I should be saying as now I look for a job in a field that I have never been in....the health care industry. Wish me luck. Now on to my post....my sister and my hubby are having a party for me. You see, this is a HUGE deal....me graduating college....I knew EVERYTHING by the time I was in the 11th grade so after 2 weeks of my junior year I decided I was done....I did NOT have time for school and I didn't need it....so I quit. BIGGEST regret of my entire life, but you can't go back, you can only learn from your mistakes and go on. So, I finally get a diploma! My Dad is not here in the physical world with us any longer, but I know he will definitely be there in spirit.....and my Mom will be there to see me get a diploma! THAT makes it ALL worth it!!! Below is my invitation I made for my party...hope you like it! This is a Kenny K image in case you wanna grab one for yourself!

Alicia's Challenge 5...

This served as a double duty. I made this for a friend...long story.  lol

So, I also am entering it into Alicia's Challenge 5. I love this image the second I saw it and knew exactly what I wanted to do with it, but I originally was going to make a card...I like this much better. I have the Tim Holtz easel die on the back to make a stand freely (love that die and found it by accident but it was exactly what I needed for this!!) I made the shadow box with the help of my scor-pal and then I covered it with matboard to make it sturdy. It was a lot of fun to create...and without running on any longer....Here is my creation!!

SBS Medusa...

The monthly challenge for SBS (Simply Betty Stamps)  was to do this Medusa. We had to use black, cream, and one other color (not counting hair and skin). This is what I just threw together. Not my best work but I had to get it done and turned in. Yes, I definitely procrastinated this month :(.

Just a quick post to share this card I made for my brother in law...because I love him so much...lol
