Cardstock question...

I was asked if I use glossy cardstock...the answer is no. I use Stampin' Up Whisper White. This technique works best if you use a very smooth cardstock and whisper white is very smooth. If you use something that is not really smooth, you will not get a smooth finish with your ink.

Tee Hee

I had someone ask if Mrs. Lumpy is my real name so I will explain....Lumpy is my DH's nickname, so, therefore, I became Mrs. Lumpy....my real name is Sharon Brown...lol

Brayering 102

Brayering 102
Video sent by mrslumpy

Sorry about the little blurb at the end....this is only my 2nd video EVER and I thought I had my camera shut off before I moved it...then I didn't know how to edit it out of the video. But, I hope you liked it anyway. :)
Oh, yeah, I also forgot...I finished up my completed project by sponging black ink all around the edges of the image just to make the whole thing pop! Have fun with it!!

SU Markers

This is a card I colored in with SU markers. This stamp is from a set from Creative Stamp Innovations. I love their stamps. This is a really neat flower. I am going to master these markers if it kills me....lol

Copics

I got a few copics and was trying them out...so I colored on some Gerbera Daisy's. And I Made a cade with another stamp I colored with copic markers. I have to get different blac ink, though, because this black is smearing with the alcohol inks. But, I love the copics...now I see what the rave is all about...
Oh, I should mention that the daisy's are only copics on the flower petals and I didn't color in the centers at all yet...they are still in process....lol
On the other note....if you looked at the post above this one, I am working with my SU markers, too, so I will get those just as good! Practice, practice, practice!!
