Sharon, you are a star, thank you, thank you, now I get what you mean by starting at the right side, off the page, it finally make sense!! I knew I just had to see it. OK, I am off to practise and I will post the results on my blog along with a link to your video! Thanks again!!!!!!
Thanx to so much for a wonderful tutorial - I'm so glad Leonie found you and linked to this from her blog. Am heading off to see your next video now! Thanx again.
OMG -- I've been stamping for 3 years and this is the first good explanation of HOW to brayer. I've been dying to figure out how those awesome effects are done. You are fabulous! Thanks so much for sharing these :D
WoWzA, this is fantastic!!! I actually 'get' it now! I've been tryin' for months, and with watching your video, I've discovered what I've been doing wrong!
OMG! Thanks for the tutorial for the brayer. I've probably wasted so much c/s because of the depth of the roll and another spill like look in my rolling. I had to give it up. I'll try it one more time.
great job. very clear instructions. Thanks for helping those of us who can't get to one of Michelle's classes! I do have a question though; are you using glossy cardstock?
Thanks so much for this video! It totally helped me understand the brayer ... you'd think I could have figured it out ... again, thanks so much! I used the technique a couple of days ago and posted on my blog this morning!
I just saw that Michelle will be in Dayton again and I am trying to finagle a trip. Thanks for the video. I didn't know to start off of the paper so that explains a lot! Tell me more about the basic michelle class.
Hi from a fellow Sharon, usually known as Shaz!I found the link to your brayering videos on Splitcoast Stampers yesterday. Thank you so much!I can finally brayer! You explain, as well as show, and at least half of my problem was how I held the brayer, and how much pressure I put on.Would it be ok for me to link to your videos on my blog? I'm sure I'm not the only brayer-deficient person in the Uk,lol.
Hi Sharon, Like Shaz (who is my co-mother-in-law - her son, my daughter) I found your videos so easy to follow, and gave me courage to have a go. I have had the brayer for ages, but it has just sat there looking at me. I have found that it is useful to practice and to remove excess ink on resonable quality paper, as some of the results are good for backing paper. Thanks for your help. Keep up the good work.
Michele, I only ever made 2 videos and it is on brayering. So, I have a part one and part 2 if you go to the right side of my blog and click on 2009, go to March...they were posted on March 4th and 5th. They are on the blog back to back. Glad they helped you!!
Does the brayer have to be a Stampin' up one? I got a Mod Podge one from Joanns (made by Plaid) but I don't dare open it and try to use it since every video seems to use the SU speedball.
