Give Thanks....

This is an image I colored with my Copics....and please do not ask what colors I used....I was just playing around and this is what transpired from it. I did not document my markers....wish I did, though. I love the way the outer ring of the wheel turned out! :o)
I keep thinking I need to do something with this card....I really liked the simplicity of it all, but the more I look at it, it looks too plain. I am thinking of changing it up just a bit so if I do, I will add it so you all can see what I did with it. But, for now, you can still look at my colored image...It is a beautiful stamp set from Heartfelt Creations called Autumn Wheel. It also has a stamp with it that says "Give Thanks"....and it is very pretty but I would have to stamp over the grass or something to put it on so I left it off. I could layer it then if I don't like it, I simply don't add it....right??
Anyway, here is my image....hope you all like it!

Star Tree...

I jsut got this stamp from Impression Obsessions.....the star tree, that is....I have had the pine branches stamp. I colored in a bit with my Copics, touch some liquid applique here and there, sprayed the whole image with perfect pearls (does not show up in the picture but it is quite pretty!) and added some pearls.

My first....

Ok, this is my first African American attempt...EVER! I have colored in faces for samples and to practice but have never attempted the skintone/facial tones together. I think she turned out pretty good for my first. I see flaws but I always do....lol (don't we all see those in our own work?) Anyway, I am going to give this card to my little great niece.....she is 4 and has a huge thing for purses so I expect that she will carry it around in her purse until it falls apart....lol

Latest on my Copic portable storage.....

Ok, so I have changed my Copic storage once again.....this has been an ongoing process. I kept out growing my storage so I kept changing. Well, I now have all but 10 markers! I will be getting them very soon, though!! There are 346 in all....YIP, YIP, YIPPPPEEEEEEE!!

OK, just so you can see what I had as to where I am now.....go here...http://mrslumpys.blogspot.com/2010/05/im-crazy-for-copicscrazy-for-copics.html so you can see how I carried my markers around prior to what I have now.....
which is this:

Isn't is just WONDERFUL??????!!!!!!!!!!! I love this and will not out grow it unless they keep coming out with new colors. I have room for 22 more markers, but have 3 blender pens and I need 2 grays (W00 and W0) and the flourescent colors (8 of them)....I...so I have 336 out of 346! WOW!!
Oh, and this carrier is an ArtBin Super Satchel Double Deep...and the grid is for a flourescent light. I got that at Lowe's for just under $12. I got the carrier on sale at Joanns so I have around $33 in the entire thing....oh, the dowel rod that I have in the corners (and one in the middle) was under $3.

Impression Obsession obsession!!

I LOVE THESE STAMPS!!!!! You can use them alone of together for different designs.....the options are unlimited!! Here are the ones I have to start my collection:

Ok, so what do you think??? Love them?? I have 3 more but I don't have them stamped yet, so you will see them as soon as I stamp them out!!

Bookmark....

I finally did it!! I made a bookmark! I have been wanting to make one of these for so long but just never did it. Well, I did it now.....and these are super simple!! To use it, it fits on the corner of the page....too cute!!

My June 18th class.....

Just wanted to share pics of the cards for my June 18th class. I will be teaching these classes plus the elephant card I made 2 posts previous from this one.

I colored this card with my copics on sticky back canvas. Love how it turned out!! The flower stamp is Hero Arts. The background stamp is Hero Arts/Basic Grey Life of the Party dots. The background was done with perfect pearls and versamark. The punched designs is a punch from Martha Stewart, leaves....then just topped it off with a couple of buttons!

This card was made with nestibilities die 'beaded circles', Just Right stamp (can't remember the name right off the top of my head), Hero Arts background stamp for the background (swirls) and for the large circle (envelope pattern and raindrop background), clear embossing powder and a white gel pen...simple!!

This is my favorite one! I did this with a Sizzix die (flower petal). first I cut strips of cream colored cardstock, then I stamped it with Hero Arts "old letter writing' stamp. I cut the cardstock down so I had 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" pieces and cut them on my Big Shot 8 pieces at a time. The leaves are the large petals from the die. Inked around the edges and put a sentiment stamp on it. Oh, I also used the smaller two dies from the beaded circles Nestibility die set...Love it!!!

This is just a store sample I thought I would throw in here since I have not posted it before. She got some C.C.Designs  stamps into the store and I wanted to show her how you could sit it on something other than another stamp. They are soooo cute!! I used patterened paper, colored her with Copics, punched both a round and scallop circle and topped it off with ribbon and some I-Rock squares turned sideways!!
